Okay, i lied =P I am undoubtedly interested in the movie '9'.
It looks awesome, the monsters and design of the dolls (both wickedly cool! ).

But I think a big part of me didn't want to watch this movie was coz it looks like (and it totally is) the kind of movie where the characters are picked off/killed one by one by the monsters.
Like monster movies you see on tv e.g group of people get stranded on an island? in a jungle? wherever and is hunted and killed off one by one by some gaint snake? underground moving monster? till the survivors manage to somehow kill the monster.

I do not like those kind of movies, especially so if I get attached to the characters, which i already have to the 'stitchpunks' as Shane Acker (director) calls them, rather easily, coz their so lovable.
All of them or a whole bunch of them is gonna get killed for sure in a movie like this...
T-T therefore my reluctance to see the movie.

I'm hoping 7 doesn't die.
She and 9 are my favourites. She's so cool, i love how her helmet's a bird's skull X3

....and I doubt 9 himself will die since he's the main o.o

Oh! I love the twins too, 3 and 4. They're so adorable ^-^

If I do see the movie in the cinemas, it would probably be the craving to see more of these characters in action.

Oh well, i'll have plenty of time to think about whether I'm watching it or not since I'm going overseas tomorrow. Can't see it even if I wanted to for now >.>

Page 10 Nails, Balloons and a Black Butler

I haven't updated in awhile ^^"
To those (few) who actually check my blog, my apologies. Anyways....

Today, my mum brought me out to do our nails.

Honestly, i NEVER do stuff like this on my own, mani/ pedicures and stuff. I think this is like the second time ever in my life to have visited a nail salon.
About 3 hours ago i was still sitting there and now i'm at home sitting here in front of my laptop, and opps, would you look at that, i nicked 3 toes already >.>

Well, my whole reason of going to do them in the first place was so they could fix my toenails

really, not for the painting really. And it was kinda nice to be pampered like that. lol. I choose browns for the nail polish, coz i was thinking that pink or blue wouldn't suit me and wardrobe or sumthing.

Yesterday i went out with Chanchan, we went to kinokuniya and borders, basically book/manga shopping.
We're not really the kind to shop for clothes and stuff together. lol. I think we would be more at home in an arcade (as long as she doesn't lose her wallet o.o) than some clothing store.

I got some manga and a jap anime illustration book =3
Didn't get much as i usually do when i'm there. Couldn't decide, and a part of me kinda felt i should stop buying so much anyways.
The stuff i got was mostly to feed my Kuroshitsuji addiction and current obsession >///<

I LOVE KUROSHITSUJI! Ciel is so cute! and Sebastian is so...o///o How could you not love that demon butler and his kid noble master? X3

Okay, okay, fangirl moment is over =P But seriously, its an awesome series. It has a pretty dark plot and gets darker as the story progresses, but theres humor too, enough to actually make me laugh out loud (for real) =)

I prefer the manga and many others (on the forums at mangafox) do actually think the same too.
The anime is awesome too but i heard the story kinda went a little not so good? around the middle i think? of the season. Coz they stopped following the manga and created a seperate plot =P My guess is anyways, i haven't exactly finished the anime. (am currently waiting oh-so-eagerly to the next chapter)
Despite that, i'm looking forward to season 2 which i hear they have greenlit! People are wondering how they are gonna continue from how season 1 ended. I ain't gonna spoil it for you if you dunno what i mean =) anyways, looking forward to it!

If you haven't read/watched it, you really should! I do not think i've ever been excited over a series so much, it wasn't this bad when i started BLEACH. lol. I've actually had dreams about it too o.o like being served food by Sebastian XD

Other than kuroshitsuji, i bought my long-awaited issue 11 of high school debut! I am aware that the entire series has been posted up on manga sites but reading from the book the first time round is soooo much better, and this is such a good shoujo manga i've been resisting the urge to read it online. I think i will do so soon though, coz the last chapter i read is a big cliff hanger O_O

I watched Pixar's UP like...erm..last week i think? With my parents.
It totally broke my heart at the opening, about Carl and Ellie's married life. I was totally expecting myself to cry, but wasn't expecting myself to cry that much XD

Ahh...its such a wonderful movie...i love it ^-^ I looooove the music too, so uplifting and sad and wonderful!

Must. get. soundtrack!

I love their new short too! Its called "Partly Cloudy". When you go watch it in the cinemas they will show it before the movie starts, like with all their other short clips. Such adorable characters and quite touching =)

I am sooo getting the dvd of "Up" when its out, so i can laugh and cry again at this Pixar masterpiece.

The moon looked red when my mum and dad drove me home last night from school,
but as usual i saw the bunny on the moon hitting mochi =3
I dun ever remember seeing the moon in a reddish colour ever. Maybe i did but just forgot?
what do you see when you look at the moon? (yes, say it in my cbox XD)

It was a long day of school yesterday, stayed til 7.30pm+ even later than my latest class so far, which has ended both fortunately and not (3d modeling was fun!) Everybody in class had to do their final pair prsentation. heh heh, cept for me and Cryst and another pair.

Even though we could go at 6, we decided to stay to watch everyone else's presentation.
I was especially curious about Shuwen and Alice's presentation. Its a rather sensitive topic. I think she did great though. Hope her idea will be a success.

I gotta make a poster for studio project class titled "Music and I" =.=" gotta admit it is fun so far. Its due on tue. I'm more worried about deisgn methodology class though, gotta come up with trigger words based on the alphabet like what he used to teach us.
He wants us to use the letter equally among the class, that sounds like a pain to organise.

I'll do my best though! ^-^

Page 8 Whoa, What a birthday

Heh. What a birthday indeed.
It was fun and sad and and...uhh...yeah.
Alright, let get this birthday report going!

Firstly, thanks to you guys who came (Cris, Lina, Yunwen, Shuwen, Chan-chan), sorry if it wasn't that great or anything for you all T-T but it meant alot to me as I've never been out with friends for my birthday before. Moving on...

We met at Bugis, ate at Pastamania (yummy) and went to Virtualand(arcade). The arcade was my idea o.o" You know, if you guys weren't gonna play, you could have said something along the lines of "i dun think i'll play anything there" or "its not my kind of thing" Coz we could have changed or something.

Thank goodness Shuwen and Chan-Chan wanted to play or it would have been the most awkward thing me playing by myself. We played some shooting game (rambo? o.o) and some racing and this really cool game that got us totally gaping, JUBEAT! Wish i knew about this game earlier, it would have brought me to an arcade sooner.

I saw this one guy play, and its just, awesome! Here's a vid if you have no idea what Jubeat is =)

Erm, it says on youtube that this guy is one of the top players in Asia.

I love the song! Its called Evans, if you want it, i got it. Just ask =)

We 3 are total noobs at this game though, but it was fun! We tried our hand at lvl 2 and 3 songs. I passed mine ^-^ They erm...didn't XD we need to go back there again! Rawr! I wanna play somemore! Hope those machine hoggers won't be there next time >.>
The entire time we were there, he was using the machine! They should get more Jubeat, there were only 2 machines there.

That incident shook me the whole day, sigh...

Shuwen had to go too, so that left me alone to go join up with the others for some shopping at bugis street. I just bought pendents, lol, as if i didn't have enough already.

Nearing 7 we parted ways coz me and cris had to go off to meet our parents.

My parents and I went to amk hub where we met my brother and ate at Fish and co.! I love their new york fish and chips! <3 filling ="3">

Afterwards we went to Fairprice to but some stuff then we went home. And that concludes the birthday report. Oh wait, theres still the presents i got =D

Outing with my friends (I want more arcade time! O_O)

Page 6 Paper Dragons and Eggs (+ a birthday!)

My my...its been awhile hasn't it? haha.

I love how my automata looks, so i'm gonna post a picture of it here ^-^

I wish i could have done more with the movements though. When i turn the handle it only moves back and forth T-T Looking at some of the others, makes me wish i had done more. Oh well, i did my best, and i submitted it on time =)

Last Saturday, i went out with Mei and Chanchan, to celebrate (Happy Birthday CHANCHAN =3 hope you like your gift!) her birthday. We ate at Astons, it was nice. It was great to see them again. Missed you two sooooooo....much!

We walked around plaza sing after that. I saw this really cool lava lamp, I want one. lol. Too bad i have no place to put it in my room. Gotta get a new table first. The red or the orange lava...hm...

Today was a cool day =D my group of 3 finished our egg container! And it works! I'm so glad ^-^
6eggs in our container fell from a meter and didn't break, woot!
I hope the results will be just as positive tomorrow at the real test (with the teacher, *la gasp*). I'm wearing my four leave clover necklace, just in case ;)

Now i know how animals at the zoo feel. It happened again today.

I dunno if you guys from the other polys ever experienced this (i'm guessing perhaps? lol):
Outsiders in big groups, walking around the corridors just outside your classroom, snapping pictures of everything.
Including YOU. (through the glass)

It is the weirdest thing, makes you feel like a tourist attraction or something >_>
They could have at least shut off the flash o.o we were working and stuff. My mum said they should put a sign that said "no flash allowed" XD

Page 4 Birthday Outing~!

Its been awhile ^^" anyways...

Yesterday I was out to celebrate Crystal's birthday with some of the others from the class.

We went to Taka, ate at mos burger (though i felt that place was not worthy a place to eat at considering the occasion) and basically just wandered around the place.

It was fun =3 and I got to buy some manga while waiting for them to arrive, heheh.

I have to admit i was bored at certain moments, good thing Alice gave Crys a red balloon, it was fun to whack around (and at other people >_<).

I'm not too into stuff like shopping for clothes and shoes and such, so when they went into Zara, i wandered around the store abit before gettting bored and stepping out to read my manga on a bench, lol. When they were looking at stockings, i went to the toys section =3

I got this little dancing puppet in a bottle there. Soooo cute! Alice helped me pick out the colour =) It dances when you tap the lid!

Page 3 Braid game = WOAH!

My teacher is moving forward our deadline for our current studio assignment!

So unfair. She said we had until next tue the last time!
And now the deadline is this thursday!*sobs* I guess that means sleepless nights all week this week again...sigh...anyways...

I finished "Braid" (the game i mentioned in my last entry,) this morning before getting ready and going school. Technically not fully finished if you count certain things. I don't wanna say too much, wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't played it fully yet ;)

It is soooo good. Mind-blowingly good.

The game kept coming to my mind while i was at school XD
I wish i didn't use a walkthrough as much as i did >_< The puzzles were really unique and really hard. Don't get me started on the story, i mean that in a great way. lol. It is very metaphoric and can be depicted and explained in so many ways. I hear one of the more popular theory is that it has to do with humanity and the atomic bomb o.o
Anyways, Its a game that makes you think, not just about the puzzles, but about ourselves, humanity and life.

Its just awesomeness, this game is awesomeness.

You have to try it if you get the chance.
When i have forgotten how to solve most of the puzzles, i'll definitely play this again! lol!

Page 2 Cool game

I found this really impressive platform/puzzle game called "Braid".

I read about it in a magazine and checked it out via its website and a free trial with limited gameplay. It was really good and really challenging. If it wasn't for youtube i wouldn't have known how to solve half (perhaps more?) of those puzzles I tried.

I thought the reversing of time was pretty cool too. If you get hit by a monster and die, or fall into a pit of spikes, you can turn back time to before it happened, theres no dieing here. Also, certain puzzles require you to use this time rewind to solve them, its really neat. Theres probably more to it i do not know yet.

The story is pretty interesting. The graphics are quite nice, reminds me of super mario, except more detailed and brighter. Its definitely a game you wanna check out, unless you get frustrated easily or are terrible at puzzle games? But you know, theres always youtube for that ;)

I didn't try much, but from what i've experienced, its definitely a game worth getting.

Page 1 Blog Debut

A new blog huh?

Seems like a good idea now i guess. lol. Thought i would give it another try. If anyone's curious, my old blog's link will be up.

When i saw this nekochan skin, i think my brain exploded from the cuteness...

My first semester at my poly has been pretty good so far. Great teachers *ahemceptforaparticularboringlecturerahem* and nice class, i still feel extremely detached to majority of my class, even those i hang around with all the time. But that isn't their fault or anything, its just my nature. I do want to get closer to everyone and be more open though. (And finally remembering everyone's names! I'm so sorry >.<)

My current interest? Well, Hikaru no Go obsession is not quite as strong as before but i still love it <3

Got my butt kicked by an online computer a week ago, at Level 1! I am such a noob XD Still, i always wanted to try holding the stone like they do in the manga/anime/real life. With the stone inbetween 2 fingers... like this image...instead of just playing it online with a mouse.

And also, part of my obsession would be because of Fujiwara no Sai o///o I know i sound like some mad fangirl but...HE'S TOO CUTE! *dies and comes back to life* heheh.

I'm still extremely upset about what happened to him in the manga. Those of you who read/watched Hikaru no Go to that certain point would definitely know what i'm talking about. I didn't even wanna read it anymore after that bit. I was THAT upset, yes. Fortunately i found this great piece of fanfiction that soothe me somewhat from that part. haha. I like characters like fujiwara no sai ^-^ Strong spirited, sweet, kind and yet have great wisdom and strength. Like...erm, Himura Kenshin, Jushirou Ukitake. Long hair helps too LOL.

Alright alright, i'll cease the fangirling and stop here =P
